This is so cool! My friend doesn’t have a Tumblr so this is gonna be a long one with both of our characters. I’ll do her’s first.
This is Zinnia. A kind, caring, and Curious Wielder who aims to do her best, and hopes to help others to do their best~
Her Story:
Zinnia is a young lady from a small town whose dreams and imagination extended beyond the old-fashioned community. Seeking a creative outlet led her to taking Figure Skating lessons for many years. To be able to afford the lessons she became very careful with every jewel that came her way. When a new Skating director took over the club and rink Zinnia could sense something was off. The once happy rink full of cheerful kids became a place of grief and grievances. Not realizing she was witnessing the effects of darkness, Zinnia tried to keep the fun and joy from fading completely. Her efforts were refuted at every turn and eventually, she, like many others, had to leave the toxic environment of the rink. Or risk succumbing to darkness.
Zinnia jumped at the chance to become a wielder, as she had always been curious about them. Having had grown up hearing the stories and legends, becoming one was an opportunity she could not miss. Joining a Union, and then a party of people who shared the same goals was a welcomed change from the, at times, petty and selfish mindset of the, she now knew, darkness infected rink. Though, because she was still a little stung by that experience, Zinnia opted to remain quiet at first. Watching and learning before jumping into action. With a mind for puzzles and patterns, as well as getting the most out of every event, and discovering the true meaning of “My friends are my power.” She soon became confident enough to offer advice and support to help her party. Eventually becoming a co-leader, then, the leader of the Lotus Co. She strives to do her best to help her fellow party members be the best they can be!
Now for my keykid:
Mine is named Lyra and the only major difference is that I like to pretend her hair isn’t in a bun. Instead it is short and wazy/curly with some of it pinned out of her way
Her Story:
Lyra is a 14 year old girl who was bubbly and energetic, but after losing her family to the heartless and becoming a wielder she became shy and quiet. Chirithy has become her new family and Daybreak Town, her new home. She is happy, but it is difficult. She doesn’t want to replace her family or forget where she comes from. But she also has to move on. Daybreak Town is wonderful because the majority of the people who live there are keyblade wielders like her. Lyra knows help is not too far away if she is ever in over her head and with so many keyblade wielders nothing can go really wrong.
She takes her job seriously because she wants to help her Union and protect the worlds. Lyra never wants anyone to get hurt again if she can do something about it. She’s failed before, she doesn’t want to fail again. So despite not being a fan of conflict, she’ll do what she has to do.
For a long time Lyra kept to herself. She stayed away from parties and after joining one, she stayed quiet… too shy to reach out. But others in the party continued to talk to her, try to include her, and eventually she accepted the hand they were holding out for her. One of those people was Zinnia. Someone who has become one of Lyra’s closest friends. It shouldn’t have been possible, them meeting. But somehow they did and Lyra feels blessed. They play games together, watch movies, share stories, compare recipes, talk until they can’t keep their eyes open anymore, and are there for each other. Times change, things come to an end, but that will never stop being a part of each other’s hearts.
